“We are developing a pipeline of young home grown cooks who truly understand and have the ability to prepare food in an authentic Asian style. They are the future of our industry.”

Cyrus Todiwala OBE DL
Founder of Zest Quest Asia

We are delighted to announce that the following eight colleges have made it to this year’s Zest Quest Asia Final.

The 2026 Finalists are…

Cheshire College – South & West

Coleg Llandrillo

Milton Keynes College

North Hertfordshire College

Oaklands College

The Sheffield College

University College Birmingham

University of West London

After creating their four-course menu showcasing an Asian country’s cuisine (or a combination of Asian countries cuisines), each semi-finalist team had to produce a short video (no more than 5 minutes long) where each student had to talk through why they had chosen that particular cuisine and what the inspiration behind their menu was. Judges felt that all semi-finalists had really raised the bar this year and it looks set to be an exciting and closely fought final. The next step for the teams will be to present their menu directly to the panel of judges on 9th April, and then the following day the cook-off will take place at University of West London, and that evening the winners of Zest Quest Asia will be announced at the Gala Dinner at Hilton, London, Wembley.
